As at the time of making this post, these settings work smoothly with Bolt 2.10 HandlerUI on MTN Nigeria with the following settings:
APN - web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
Username - web
Password - web
IP Address - 010.199.212.002
Port - 8080
You may also request for the default settings by sending Settings in a text message to 3888.
If you use a series 40 java phone, download the proxy configuration file below or create a proxy file the the above settings.
Download MTN Prov file from Capriofiles
Download casts_bolt210handlerui150.jar from Capriofiles
Download casts_bolt210handlerui150.jar from Hotfile
Install casts_bolt 2.10 handlerui150 and input the following settings:
Custom HTTP Server - http://us3.mysmallplanet.com
Host - www.mtnonline.com
Front Query - 10.199.212.8@ (required for S40 phones)
The latest Bolt Version 2.50 Handler also works on MTN but not as stable as 2.10.
Save and launch!
